Service Spools
For commercial spooling
Product Description
Maxima service spools are intended for commercial customers who fill multiple reels
C-Chameleon : Maxima’s Chameleon line, as the name implies has the unique property of changing hues to
match the colour of the surroundings, for reduced visibility in waters that are cloudy or stained.
Designed for freshwater fisheries, this line has the toughest finish of all lines on the market.
Ideal for casting and flipping around rocks, brush and vegetation. The incredible abrasion
resistance of Chameleon makes it the best choice for rock strewn rivers and shore lines. It is
also a perennial favourite for the Atlantic salmon fishery for that very reason. Its harder finish
results in stiffer characteristics that shine in fly fishing applications. Chameleon is a best choice for
baitcasting and conventional reels and spinning reels in lighter lb tests. The line makes an ideal
fly fishing leader material.
UG - UltraGreen:The original “Green” monofilament. Ultragreen has set the standard for decades. Though often
attempted, no other manufacturer has duplicated the exclusive colour and characteristics of
Maxima Ultragreen. It becomes virtually invisible underwater, particularly in freshwater and
inshore coastal waters.
Ultragreen is soft and limp yet retains Maxima’s legendary tough, high-durability finish for
excellent abrasion resistance and outstanding knot and tensile strength. Ultragreen is the best allaround
line for a variety of freshwater and saltwater fishing. It spools and casts well on spinning,
baitcasting and larger conventional reels. Ultragreen is the perfect choice for mainline or leader
material.
TB-Tuna Blue: The offshore fishing environment is no place for the weak of heart, or weak line.Strength and
durability are paramount. Tuna Blue incorporates the proven characteristics of extreme tensile
power to land world-class catches, and superb abrasion resistance to protect from razor-sharp
teeth.
But Tuna Blue offers even more, a new molecular structure that delivers the industry’s toughest
shock resistance. Vicious strikes and multiple long runs are no match for Tuna Blue. The precise
amount of stretch prevents line stress, while Tuna Blue’s ability to recoil smoothly and quickly
never fails to keep the right amount of tension between the angler and his catch.
